EQUIPMENT NOT RETURNED ON TIME WILL BE CHARGED AT THE DAY RATE
We can provide Spraydecks, Paddles, Buoyancy Aids, Cags and Dry Bags with boat hire if required or you can bring your own.
Buoyancy Aid £3 per day. Cag £3 per day. Dry bag £2 per day.
If you require the boats to be taken to the water we will do so if we are available. Rates: £10 delivery or collection within a 7 mile radius (includes Mallaig). Outwith this by prior agreement.
CONDITIONS OF HIRE
We DO NOT hire out KAYAKS or CANOES to complete beginners or inexperienced paddlers. You must assure us of your personal competence and inform us where you intend using the kayak. Hire is subject to availability.
You are responsible for your own and the rest of your group's safety. Hirers are fully responsible for the kayak and equipment throughout the hire period and must ensure that THEY ARE PERSONALLY INSURED for any injuries. Any loss or damage to any of our equipment must be paid for in full at the end of hire period.
PAYMENT
£100 deposit on the day of hire which will be returned when all equipment is returned free from any damage.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- A roof rack and straps to securely tie on boats.
- Suitable waterproof and windproof clothing.
- Drinking water and food.
- Emergency communication device .
- Local area map of the area you intend to paddle. We have some laminated local area maps you can borrow.
